Dr. Kimberly Wampler Bio

Dr. Kimberly Wampler grew up in Dallas and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Texas. She then went on to graduate from the University of Houston College of Optometry with a Doctor of Optometry degree. She is licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and has completed the Optometric Glaucoma Specialist certification. Her concentrations include specialty contact lenses, Ortho-K, dry eye treatment, retinal health and myopia management.

Dr. Wampler spent 7 years as an optometric assistance in Dallas, Texas while working towards the goal of becoming an optometrist. Dr. Wampler is on the Board of Trustees for the Texas Optometric Association and for Elevate Digital Optics digital lab. She is also the Austin leader for Young ODs of America.

She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, Central Texas Optometric Society, American Academy of Orthokeratology & Myopia Control and is an active partner of the Cedar Park Regional Medical Center Healthy Women network. Dr. Wampler was also a nominee & finalist for the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce 2012 Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

Outside the office, Dr. Wampler spends time with her 14 year old son, Cole, 18 year old daughter Alexis, and husband, Dr. Jeff Wineinger. She enjoys mountain biking, dirt biking, scuba diving (with sharks!), gym fitness, traveling, and is a total foodie! !
