Dr. Stephen HarrisD.C. CCSP CCRD FCCRS(c) Born and raised in Calgary, Dr. Stephen Harris has been a chiropractor with over 30 years of experience. He graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 1984 with top honours and returned home to serve the people of Calgary. Dr. Harris has actively participated in sports all of his life, playing for hockey teams such as the Calgary Spurs, Calgary Wranglers, and University of Calgary Dinos – sparking his interest in human biomechanics. His new sports love is horse jumping. Since completing his Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Harris has been dedicated to providing the best in quality care to his patients. He has continually strived to upgrade his knowledge and education. He has completed post graduate studies and training in spinal rehabilitation and sports medicine earning him the designation of “specialist in spinal rehabilitation” and “certified chiropractic sports physician”. In addition to being an active clinician, he has carried out biomechanical research at the University of Calgary. Dr. Harris has been the team chiropractor for the Calgary Cannons baseball team and the Calgary Hitman hockey team. He has treated many of the Calgary Stampeders, professional tennis players and rodeo contestants at the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede.
