A born-and-raised Vancouverite, Dr. Farah Kassam completed her Bachelor of Science degree with a Science Scholar designation and her MD degree at UBC, followed by the UBC Family Medicine Residency Program. She is a family physician with special interest and training in dermatology, having completed numerous dermatology electives across Canada, including the University of Calgary, University of Toronto, University of Ottawa, McMaster University, and Dalhousie University in addition to UBC. Having worked also extensively with Dr. Janet Ip during her training, the Cambie Village team is thrilled to have her join the practice. A published author in the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery, she has presented her work at conferences including the UBC Skin Research Day. Outside of work, Dr. Kassam enjoys spending sunny days on the seawall with her niece, baking, and travelling.
