Dr. Adam Chubak attended Yeshiva University for undergraduate, where he graduated with honors and deans list for all four years. After undergrad he spent a year doing lab research at NYU under the direction of Dr. Daniel Rifkin analyzing TGF-Beta and its effect on heart development. Dr. Chubak then attended VCU for medical school where he led many student interest groups. After medical school Dr. Chubak started his residency in Vascular Surgery at Mt. Sinai completing his intern year in General Surgery and another year of vascular surgery.

Ultimately deciding to become an ophthalmologist, Dr. Chubak went on to do a pre-residency fellowship in Ophthalmology at SUNY Downstate, and then joined SUNY downstate for ophthalmology residency. In his final year he was a chief resident and was the primary surgeon for many cataract and anterior segment procedures as well as emergent trauma. Dr. Chubak is the current cornea fellow focusing on transplants, refractive cornea surgery, and anterior segment surgery. He is involved in research and is a member of the AAO, ASCRS, and other ophthalmological professional organizations.
